from the I-totally-should-have-thought-of-this-first department, I present to you famous mathematical constants  interpreted as a series of musical intervals. My favorite is, of course, this version of pi.

a special note for SotG people

If you don’t know what the letters SotG mean, then you can safely completely ignore this. If, however, those letters represent the forum you are trying to find, but you are being sent here, then try clicking on this link for now. For some reason that I don’t understand, you are being sent to the wrong place.

since my “name those countries” was such a rousing success, now you can try naming all 50 states that make up our union. Alas a fell short by one. I never did like West Virginia.

home, home on the domain

Well I have officially moved to some new web hosting digs. I have been with phpwebhosting.com since I first joined the world of hosting roughly 60 internet years ago. At the time they were a great service, cheap with plenty of features. I actually wrote to them before I started hosting trying to figure out what the catch was. It was a great find. In the past couple of years though, they have started to lag behind other sites in features and the sites I hosted with them were down or very slow far more often that I liked. As of now, I have moved to hostgator.com. We will see how things go here, but for now it seems to be much more to my liking.

how well do you know your countries? See how many UN recognized states you can think of in 10 minutes and then tell me how you did in the comments. I personally got 53/192 plus another 10-15 that I couldn’t figure out the correct spelling for.
