spring cleaning, and such
Well I have never really liked that white and blue version I had up for awhile, and now with a little more time on my hands I became inspired to do a little better job with a design.
Things still aren’t really the way I want them, but I decided to go live for a couple of reasons. One of the major reasons is that the comments now make some attempt at keeping out the comment spam. Several of you had noticed the spam comments being added, but for those of you who haven’t they look a lot like spam email: lots of links, bad english, and of course selling everything from Online Poker to Viagra. They are put there my programs that search the web finding places to put there junk text. Today I deleted 1190 spam comments. Well, in order to try and keep them out, I will be asking you to solve a simple math question to prove you are a human. If you have any problems with that let me know.
Other new feature is my picture picker. This basically grabs at random one of my photos every time you visit my page. Clicking on the image will take you to a flicker page were you can see a larger version among other things.
The short little link based posts and been moved under the “spit fire” heading in the second column.
