I decided that software engineering with the job for me in the eleventh grade and I have never looked back. I love creating new things. I love fixing old things. I love finding a really hard problem that gets stuck in my head from the moment I wake up until the moment I fall asleep. I am currently focusing on iOS and macOS development with Flexibits where I get to work on Fantastical and Cardhop. Although I work on all kinds of things, my focus tends to be on widgets of all varieties. I have been with Flexibits since May of 2020. I previously spent almost fifteen years at L3Harris making really cool things that I am not allowed to talk about. During that time I have worked on every possible facet of software development: writing code, leading others writing code, designing systems, requirement generation, concept generation, and customer reporting.

For the past fourteen years, I have served as the resident photographer at the Historic Cocoa Village Playhouse: responsible for creating a visual record of every production as well as marketing photograph and headshots as well as working with several other local theatre organizations. I cherish the opportunity to create a lasting memory of the amazing visuals of live theatre. I shy away from deliberately staged shots, but instead prefer to capture the actors in the midst of the full-out performances. My photography work is done under the business name of Goforth Photography along with my wife.

There has never been a time in my life that I was not performing on stage. While I have never pursued it professional, it has been a passion and hobby from before my memory starts. I have performed in nearly seventy full-length plays and musicals across nine regional theatres and churches. Leading roles include: The Wolf in Into the Woods, Smudge in Forever Plaid, Ellard in The Foreigner, Mr. Mushnik in Little Shop of Horrors, Cliff Bradshaw in Cabaret, Henry Higgens in My Fair Lady, Joe/Josephine in Sugar (Some Like it Hot), Cogsworth in Disney's Beauty and the Beast, The Old Man in A Christmas Story, Leopold Bloom in The Producers, and Capt. von Trapp in The Sound of Music.
